How and when should I RSVP?

Please RSVP on our website no later than July 15th. The link will be shared soon! We want each and every one of you to be there but, any RSVP’s after that date may not be able to be accommodated.

Where should I stay?

We’ve organized several hotel room blocks to assist you with this decision. One at Salamander Middleburg, where the wedding weekend festivities will be. The other two are at Home2suites in Dulles/Chantilly and Hilton Garden in Haymarket. You can find instructions for the room blocks on our Travel & Stay tab. Please be sure to book by August 1st as the room blocks do expire after that! As a reminder, we’re happy to help coordinate shared Airbnbs. Just reach out! If you do organize your own accommodations, please schedule a taxi service ahead of time as Ubers are not reliable in Middleburg. We suggest Falcon Cab.

Should I attend the welcome party?

Absolutely! We’re hoping everyone can make it on Friday night. There will be plenty of drinks, and this will be a great opportunity to catch up with friends and get to know other guests. Grab dinner in downtown Middleburg beforehand if you have time! Gabby put together a list of our favorite spots if you want to explore.

What should I wear?

All events are cocktail attire and we hope everyone has fun dressing up for a night out! Please wear what makes you comfortable but, we’d love to see you get into the vibe with us! Following a more traditional cocktail attire style would be absolutely acceptable too. Wedding attire mood board coming soon!

Is there transportation?

Yes, transportation will be provided from the Home2suites and the Hilton Garden to the venue and back. Pick up times will be set soon so please check back here. The buses will not be making another round back to the hotel prior to the ceremony. Please be sure to book under our room blocks so we can account for you in transportation!

If you are staying outside of the room blocks, we recommend booking a ride through Falcon Cab ahead of time as they do book up and Ubers are not reliable in Middleburg.

Is there parking?

Yes! The parking lot is a short walk away from the ceremony. There is also Valet available.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacities, we have carefully selected plus ones. If your invitation does not state a guest, then we ask that you RSVP for one. If you are unsure if your invitation includes a plus one, please reach out to our Planner, kylie@vidaevents.net.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

We love your kids but we are having a 21+ wedding weekend. Take the night off and get ready for the best adults-only wedding you'll ever go to. Salamander Resort is kid friendly so, if you do stay on site, they are of course welcome to stay with you there!

Can I take photos at your wedding?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you refrain from bringing out your phone at the ceremony.
